Dear Reader,
Time is in the last Stages before the first Beta.
Time - you might have guessed - is a Time Capture Solution.
BORING, there are about 2 Million Excel Things out.
True that, but Time stores all Data in a MySQL Database on a Server
That means a Project Manager ALWAYS has actual data available.
Further, Time also Tracks Cost per Employee and Assignment. Thus with the Click of a Mouse button, a Project Manager knows Hours spend in the various Areas of the Project, the Costs per Employee, also of External Resources
and the billiable Hours. As a nice Bonous, Time can capture Expenses. Thus providing an instant overview of all Project related costs.
To Document the Expenses, Time allows the Attachment of Receipts. Meaning all Documents in one Place. No Matching of eMails with Expenses and Timesheets and Accounting Tasks. Time also provides an overview over other Timesheets in the same Week. Thus there is an immediate overview of the Total hours worked, rather than reconciling individual Spreadsheets.
My Reseach into other Solutions indictes that nearly 90% of Applications do close to nothing to address what Timesheets are for.
They do not capture the actual time, but rather just duration
The Implications should be obvious, but ...
If it is unknown WHEN a Service was actually provided, allocating Overtime to a Project or Task is impossible.
All that is known, is that Overtime was done, but there is no telling where that occurred.
That also means no one can get back to a Client and letting them know that People took care of an issue in the middle of a Night.
Now wether a Client is charged for it or not is a different matter, but being able to let them know, means providing reason for the Service
and shows engagement. Or to use a cath Phrase, the Quality of Service is actually documented.
From a good housekeeping perspective, costs of Overtime should be captured and allocated. After all, someone has to keep track
and pay for it. Be that absorbed inHouse and cutting into the Profit Margin or Invoiced out.

No flipping through Pages. The Associate and Manager see at first glace total Hours worked,
regardless for which Customer or Project. The Part that is currently "Work in Progress" is a comprehensive Overtime function to truly reflect those Costs as well. Naturally, that would be flexible enough to account for various Schemas, not just a single case.
.
Time already has F1-Help Functionality throughout.
Includes an authorization Layer (User, Admin, Manager, Sys-Admin)
Easy Installation.
Simple Back-Up of the Database without leaving the Application.
Background customizable with Company Logo or individual Images.
The Tab-Design allows for easy Expansion for additional Information.
Time has build in and customizable Query functionality. A Project Manager can define those to the individual needs, grouping with sub totals
and whatever Standard Query allows to retrieve Reports for Management or Customer.
No Fuzz capture of Expenses. Quick, Easy, linked to Timesheet for Cost tracking.
